GEOSLOPE is developed by GeoStudio, the leading geoengineering software package used in more than 100 countries for the past 40 years. Join thousands of engineers, scientists, regulators, professors and students and start using GeoStudio today.
GeoStudio continues our digital twin journey with strong synergies between Leapfrog’s geological modeling and GeoStudio’s geotechnical analysis with new multi-workflows. Dive into 3D with the new GeoStudio 3D FLOV. 3D FLOV combines new CTRAN3D and AIR3D analyzes with SEEP3D and TEMP3D analyzes for greater terrain modeling.
Seamless integration, unmatched analysis capabilities
The GeoStudio integrated software package allows you to combine multiple analyzes using different products into one modeling project.
Use this approach to design a design, set preconditions, perform sensitivity analysis, model complex schedules, or simply break down a complex problem into small, manageable analyses.
GeoStudio Basic Edition includes the core functions of SLOPE/V, SEEP/V, SIGMA/V, KUAKE/V, TEMP/V, CTRAN/V, AIR/V and VADOSE/V to solve slope stability and geotechnical analysis at low cost. . . GeoStudio Basic is a license for engineering consulting.
The basic version is ideal for use in general engineering practice for analyzing problems of low geometric complexity. It is licensed for engineer use and is only available as a standalone perpetual license.
Wide reach
Although primarily designed for the stability analysis of natural and man-made slopes on Earth, GeoStudio Basic can also be used to analyze stable permeability-constrained and uncontrolled problems, analyze line solutions and stress distribution problems, monitor environmental contamination in groundwater flow, analyze freeze-thaw problems using vadose zone and land cover 1D analysis.
Imitation exercises
When using dynamic modeling software, there is a common tendency to create geometrically overly complex numerical models. Geometric complexity is usually not required to obtain useful results. In fact, we at GEO-SLOPE strongly advocate that the numerical model should be a simplified abstraction of the actual field conditions. The introduction of this simulation principle makes GeoStudio Basic, despite its geometric limitations, a very powerful analysis tool for practical use.
Evaluation and improvement
GeoStudio Basic allows you to evaluate a highly advanced geospatial software package with minimal investment. Starting with GeoStudio Basic is a good strategy. Once you get comfortable with the software and find that your projects require more sophisticated analysis, you can upgrade to the full-featured version. Everything you learned and did with the basic version applies directly to the full-featured version. There is nothing to lose by getting the basic version first and then buying the full-featured version.
VADOSE/V Basic
Integrated VADOSE/V Basic puts the power in your hands to accurately and reliably solve 1D vadose zone and land cover analyses. VADOSE/V Basic contains the same geometric constraints as the other GeoStudio Basic packages, with the additional constraint that all elements must be in a 1D column.
Easy to use
Define the problem
Starting the analysis is as easy as defining the geometry of the areas identifying the soil layers andby drawing lines. After drawing, you should select an analysis method, specify soil properties and pore and water pressures, define reinforcement loads, and create test surfaces.
Summary of results
After solving the analysis, the results can be viewed in different ways
-Show minimum slip area and safety factor together or check them separately.
– View information about the critical sliding section, including total sliding mass, a free-body diagram, and a force polygon showing the forces acting on each section.
– Create security features or display graphs of calculated parameters. Prepare report results by adding labels, marquees and images, or export the results to other programs such as Microsoft Excel for further analysis.
